Browse Wine Reviews

Reviewed wines are grouped by the varietal or dominant grape as disclosed by the winemaker. Wines sold without a specified dominant variety are grouped as 'blended'. This includes both the lower-end 'tintos' and the super-premium 'cortes'.

Each wine review is accompanied by a brief data sheet specifying the bodega (winery or winery label), product range if applicable, wine description, vintage, geographical origin and approximate retail price in Argentine pesos at the time of review (with approximate US currency equivalent also given). Further explanation of these data types here.

Wines are reviewed for appearance, nose (aroma), and palate (flavours, weight, and finish). These comments are followed by an overall summary and general observations. Finally, each wine is rated from 0 to 5 stars.

Note that these ratings are somewhat weighted according to value. More explanation here.
